Student Senate President Jacquese Barrett presents the Faculty Member of the Year Award to Allison Folsom, RN, MSN, during Northern Maine Community College's Night of Excellence on April 22 in the Edmunds Conference Center.
Northern Maine Community College recognized student and faculty achievement during its annual Night of Excellence ceremony held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in the Edmunds Conference Center.
The event brought together students, faculty, staff and families to celebrate academic excellence, leadership, and contributions to the NMCC community.
Joshua Scheff, a student in network administration and cybersecurity, was named Student of the Year. Allison Folsom, RN, MSN, nursing faculty, was named Faculty Member of the Year.
Students named to the All-Maine Academic Team were Chance Lilly, Tonya McLennan, Sarah DeMerchant, and Joshua Scheff. The Gorman Scholarship was awarded to Sabrina Charni and Joshua Scheff.
Joseph Bicknell received the Falcon Spirit Award, recognizing his positive impact on campus life and the college community.
Academic Excellence Awards were presented to Kenneth Goslin and Christopher Davis.
