Notice of Public Hearings- Rezones- October 13, 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Oconto County Land and Water Resources Committee will hold public hearings on 10/13/2025 on the proposed redistricting of the following properties under the Oconto County Zoning Ordinance and Oconto County Land Division Ordinance.

APPLICATION NO. 1 at 8:30 AM at the Oconto County Courthouse, 301 Washington St., Building A, third floor, RM 3041 for Lade Beach LLC, Agent: Steven Bieda, to rezone from Forest District & Agricultural District to Rural Residential District. Location of the property is in Section 8, T26N, R21E, Town of Little Suamico.

APPLICATION NO. 2 immediately following application no. 1 at the Oconto County Courthouse, 301 Washington St., Building A, third floor, RM 3041 for James & Karen Jahnke, to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District. Location of the property is in Section 4, T26N, R20E, Town of Abrams. 2287 Cross Rd.

APPLICATION NO. 3 immediately following application no. 2 at the Oconto County Courthouse, 301 Washington St., Building A, third floor, RM 3041 for Ross & Tamara Harms Revocable Trust, to rezone from Forest w/Conservancy District to Forest District. Location of the property is in Section 29, T28N, R22E, Town of Oconto.

APPLICATION NO. 4 immediately following application no. 3 at the Oconto County Courthouse, 301 Washington St., Building A, third floor, RM 3041 for Robert & Laurie Maloney, to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District. Location of the property is in Section 11, T28N, R19E, Town of Oconto Falls. 6867 County Rd. B

APPLICATION NO. 5 at 10:15 AM at the Maple Valley Town Hall for Noble Jones, to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District. Location of the property is in Section 14, T29N, R18E, Town of Maple Valley. 10460 County Rd. A

APPLICATION NO. 6 immediately following application no. 5 at the Maple Valley Town Hall, 9088 County Rd. Z, for Gary & Cynthia Tuschy, to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District. Location of the property is in Section 18, T29N, R17E, Town of How.

APPLICATION NO. 7 immediately following application no. 6 at the Maple Valley Town Hall, 9088 County Rd. Z, for Bernie Cudnohosky Trust Agreement, Agent: Keith Simpson, to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District. Location of the property is in Section 2, T30N, R19E, Town of Brazeau.

APPLICATION NO. 8 at 11:30 AM at the Northern Zoning Office, 15152 Island Lake Rd., for Michael & Susan Bessert, Agent: Mark Laha, to rezone from Rural Residential District to Residential Single Family District. Location of the property is in Section 18, T33N, R16E, Town of Lakewood. 15563 Pickerel Lake Rd.

APPLICATION NO. 9 immediately following application no. 8 at the Northern Zoning Office, 15152 Island Lake Rd. for Harvey Raether, Agent: Harry Smith, to rezone from Forest District to Rural Residential District. Location of the property is in Section 11, T32N, R15E, Town of Doty. 16490 Bells Point Rd.

APPLICATION NO. 10 at immediately following application no. 9 for an Oconto County Land & Water Resource Committee Petition to rezone incidental areas for the following properties that are part of a consent rezone application associated with exchanges of lands between parcel owners. These rezones will make the zoning consistent within the parcel.

1. Tax Parcel 012-242400512, Trevor Vanlaanen and Niccole Stineman, 7453 CTH S, Sobieski, WI 54171, rezone from the Agricultural (A) district to the Rural Residential (RR) district. This parcel (5.75 acres).

2. Tax Parcel 012-222202142B, George B and Lynn M Lambert, 1058 Schwartz Rd., Pulaski, WI 54162, rezone from the Agricultural (A) district to the Single Family Residential (R-1) district. This area (.93 acres / 40,616 sq. ft).

3. Tax Parcel 022-580703544E, Donna Grauvogl, 6504 Superior Ave., Oconto, WI 54153, rezone from the Rural Residential (RR) district to the Single Family Residential (R-1) district. This area (.05 acres / 2,326 sq. ft).

4. Tax Parcel 022-580702743A, Brandon Bourassa, 6536 Superior Ave., Oconto, WI 54153, rezone from the Single Family Residential (R-1) district to the Rural Residential (RR) district. This area (.63 acres / 27,579 sq. ft).

5. Tax Parcels 040-2424007132 and 040-2424007132A, Richard & Deborah Wood, 4998 STH 22, Lena, WI 54139, rezone from the General Commercial (GC) district to the Park and Recreation (PR) district (2,162 sq. ft. and 12,818 sq. ft) and rezone from the Park and Recreation (PR) district to the General Commercial (GC) district (97 sq. ft.).

Notice is further given that printed copies of the proposed rezoning's are available for public inspection in the Zoning Office, Courthouse, Oconto, Wisconsin during regular office hours.
