Call for Nominations: Fred Fletcher Outstanding Volunteer Awards

Raleigh Parks is pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the upcoming Fred Fletcher Outstanding Volunteer Awards, from Jan. 1 through Jan. 31.

This annual event recognizes individuals and groups whose exceptional service and commitment have made a significant impact within the Raleigh Parks Department and the communities that we serve.

We invite community members, organizations, and colleagues to participate in this important recognition process. By submitting a nomination, you help ensure that the invaluable contributions of our volunteers are acknowledged and celebrated.

Nomination Guidelines

• Nominations must be submitted by Jan. 31.
• Each submission should include the nominee's name, contact information, and a detailed description of their volunteer contributions. Supplemental items such as photos, newspaper clippings, etc. will also be accepted.
• Nominee must be an active Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources volunteer during the past year.
• Nominations must be submitted electronically via the online nomination form.
