Prasar Bharati brings India’s first AI band to national TV and radio

India's public broadcaster and ABU member, Prasar Bharati, has partnered with Collective Media Network to bring Trilok, the country's first AI-powered band, to audiences nationwide. The music will be featured on Akashvani radio, Doordarshan channels, and WAVES OTT streaming platform. This marks the first time Prasar Bharati will showcase large-scale AI-created content, making Trilok's music accessible to millions across India and abroad.

Trilok blends Indian spiritual traditions with modern technology. The band recently released "Rupam Dehi," a tribute to Goddess Durga featuring Kolkata's Durga Puja celebrations, and reimagined "Sukhkarta Dukhharta," a classic Ganesh prayer with a contemporary sound. Vijay Subramaniam, CEO of Collective Artists Network, called it "progress and faith in harmony," combining technology with Indian culture and traditions.

Gaurav Dwivedi, CEO of Prasar Bharati, emphasized delivering content that is innovative and rooted in culture. The partnership shows how technology and storytelling can inspire and connect communities. Audiences can experience Trilok's music and other cultural content on WAVES OTT, which offers live TV, radio, on-demand shows, and films on one platform.
