Permanent Council to Receive Report from the OAS Special Mission to Guatemala

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, April 8 at 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT) in the Simón Bolívar room at the OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C. at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., to address, among other topics:

• Update report of the Special Mission for the Strengthening of Democratic Institutions in Guatemala
• Consideration of the new proposed "Mechanism for Systematizing Information under the Inter-American Democratic Charter"
• Place and Date of the Twenty-fifth Regular Meeting of the Consultative Committee of the Inter-American Convention against the Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Other Related Material
