NEWS RELEASE
For Immediate Release: June 15, 2026

DALLAS - Dallas ISD is introducing a universal student badge system starting for the 2026-2027 school year. This badge will provide students with a single ID for transportation, meals, library book checkouts, and athletic events. While student badges have long been required on campuses, the new districtwide design will streamline services, improve efficiency, and enhance campus security. Each badge will feature a consistent Dallas ISD look while incorporating individual school mascots and branding.
