Volunteers wanted to support student experiences
More than 48,000 Dallas ISD students will soon take part in the new Learning Voyages program, connecting classroom instruction with real-world learning through visits to the Dallas Zoo, Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Dallas Arboretum, and Dallas ISD's Environmental Education Center. Made possible through a partnership with Lyda Hill Philanthropies, the program removes financial barriers while sparking curiosity and strengthening STEM learning. Dallas ISD is seeking volunteers to support hands-on learning opportunities and help bring meaningful experiences to students across the district.
