Man in custody after bank robbery: C25-238363

On October 7, 2025, Winnipeg Police arrested a suspect in connection with the robbery of a financial institution in the 1000 block of Corydon Avenue that occurred on the previous evening.

On October 6, 2025, at 6:36 p.m., police were contacted after a man attended to the front counter of the above financial institution, passed a note to the teller, and fled in a vehicle after receiving an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was used and no injuries were reported during the robbery.

West District General Patrol officers located the getaway vehicle in a parking lot in the 1100 block of Grant Avenue. Their investigation led them to a residence in the South River Heights area, where the suspect was taken into custody at 1:40 a.m. on October 7.

Lee Joseph ROBINSON (29) has been charged with Robbery. He was detained in custody.
