Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong will participate in the ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit (ARCS) in Kazan, Russia, from 17 to 18 June 2026.
The ARCS marks two significant milestones: the 30th anniversary of the ASEAN-Russia Dialogue Partnership and the 35th anniversary of ASEAN-Russia relations. At the Summit, ASEAN and Russia will discuss ways to take forward their Strategic Partnership, and to strengthen cooperation across key areas including connectivity, education and culture.
Prime Minister Wong will be accompanied by Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan. During Prime Minister Wong's absence, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong will be the Acting Prime Minister.
