Announcement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the arrival of Greek citizens who participated in the “Global Sumud Flotilla” (22.05.2026)

Following arrangements made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with the assistance of the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul, all 19 Greek citizens who participated in the "Global Sumud Flotilla" arrived in Athens today at 9:00 p.m. on a commercial flight.

Those deemed to require first aid were transferred to hospital facilities for medical care.
