Jenny Ramirez Interviewed for ASCE Geo-Institute Director’s Cut

Jenny Ramirez, PhD, PEng, was featured in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Geo-Institute Director's Cut series, published on March 18, 2026.


In episode 12 of season 7, Jenny was interviewed at Geo-Congress 2026 in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she discussed topics including her work at Geosyntec, her strategy when attending conferences, and the firm's work at the Cherry Island Landfill.

Jenny is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer based in Colorado who uses site characterization, data visualization, and numerical modeling to address geotechnical engineering challenges at dams, landfills, disposal containment facilities, and other earth structures. She often helps develop digital visualization tools and automate presentation of instrumentation results to support efficiency and safety during execution of large projects.

Director's Cut is an interview series in which Geo-Institute Director Brad Keelor interviews Geo-Institute members using a 10-question format designed to encourage them to share career stories, technical interests, and perspectives on the profession.
