Ambassador of Belarus S.Chepurnoi meets Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan
18 June 2026On 18 June 2026, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Turkmenistan, Stanislav Chepurnoi, met with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan for Transport and Communications, Batyr Annaev.
Following on from the agreements reached during the meeting between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus and the President of Turkmenistan, which took place on 22 May 2026 in Ashgabat, the parties discussed a range of issues relating to air links between the two countries and the expansion of cooperation in the transport and logistics sector.
The sides also discussed the prospects for developing trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Turkmenistan, including with regard to the forthcoming meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission.
