Heavy rainfall continues to impact communities across the Texas Hill Country, with significant flooding reported throughout the Guadalupe, Pedernales, Llano, and Nueces river basins and their tributaries.
As of this morning, more than 80 water rescues had been conducted, with additional rescues underway. First responders continue working around the clock to protect lives and assist affected communities.
While forecasts indicate that the heaviest rainfall may shift north and west over the next 24 hours, isolated heavy downpours remain possible. With the ground already saturated, conditions can change quickly.
Please continue to:
-Avoid flooded roads and low-water crossings.
-Never drive around barricades or road closures.
-Follow all guidance from local officials.
-Move to higher ground immediately if you are in danger.
-Call 911 in an emergency.
Please keep our first responders and affected neighbors in your prayers. The Hill Country has faced difficult challenges before, and we will get through this together.
