The State of Investment in Defense

The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) has released The State of Investment in Defense, a new report developed in partnership with Bain & Company examining the factors shaping investment across the U.S. defense industrial base. Drawing on industry research, stakeholder interviews, and member insights, the report explores how government, industry, and investors can work together to create the conditions needed to attract investment, strengthen supply chains, expand production capacity, and accelerate innovation. The report identifies key opportunities to improve investment confidence and ensure the defense industrial base can scale to meet evolving national security needs.
