Tower Cranes Mark Major Milestone for New Women and Babies Hospital Project
The skyline for the New Women and Babies Hospital Project is looking a little different these days. All eight tower cranes have been installed at the Women and Babies Hospital in Murdoch and the first of three tower cranes for the expansion of Osborne Park Hospital is now in action.
The installation of the tower cranes marks a significant step forward for the project as it enables major structural works to progress including constructing the main building's core raft, a critical structural element that supports the heaviest part of the hospital building and forms the foundations of the lifts and stairwells.
