More than 50,000 football fans will be heading to Nissan Stadium Tuesday for the Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl, this year featuring the Tennessee Volunteers and Illinois Fighting Illini. Gates open at 2:30 p.m. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Nissan Stadium parking lots will open at 12:30 p.m. for fans with parking passes. All on-campus parking for this game is sold out. The Woodland Street Bridge will close to vehicle traffic at 2 p.m. and will be available for pedestrians only until after the game.
BAG RESTRICTIONS
Those attending this game are reminded that the National Football League's restrictions on what can be brought into stadiums are strictly enforced for all events at Nissan Stadium, including college games. No backpacks, duffel bags, etc., are permitted inside the stadium. For ladies, anything larger than a clutch-style purse must be a clear plastic bag, medical items excluded.
BATTLE OF THE BANDS
The marching bands from Tennessee and Illinois will take part in a Battle of the Bands event tonight at 6 p.m. on Broadway between 1st and 3rd Avenues. Broadway from 1st to 3rd Avenues will be closed.

Dozens of MNPD officers will be downtown and visible tonight and around Nissan Stadium on Tuesday. Please be vigilant. If you SEE SOMETHINGF suspicious or concerning, please SAY SOMETHING to a nearby police officer or security guard.
