Bridge Repair Work Prompts I-40 EB Lane Closures at MM 363 in Loudon County

Motorists traveling on I-40 East in Loudon County should be aware of upcoming bridge repair activities that will have an impact on traffic.

Beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, I-40 East will be reduced to one lane at MM 363 in Loudon County to allow for repairs to the bridge that spans over Paw Paw Plains Road. This bridge repair work is taking place approximately one mile from Exit 364 (Lenoir City/US 321). These lane closures will remain in place until no later than 3 p.m. that same day.

This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Motorists are advised to expect delays and use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
