Arrest Made in Shooting Investigation in Thornton, New Hampshire

Concord, NH - Attorney General John M. Formella, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Mark B. Hall, and Thornton Police Department Chief Daniel J. Gilman announce that an arrest has been made in the death of Leah Anderson, age 21, on June 8, 2026.

Logan Anderson, age 18, has been arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder for knowingly causing the death of Leah Anderson, his sister, by shooting her. It is anticipated that Mr. Anderson will be arraigned at the 2nd Circuit District Court in Plymouth, New Hampshire tomorrow.

The investigation into this matter is ongoing. Additional information will be released as it becomes available while protecting the integrity of the investigation. The charges and allegations against Logan Anderson are merely accusations, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
