Pancreatic cancer is the third deadliest cancer in the U.S. There is no recommended screening for people at average risk, so it is important to understand the modifiable and non-modifiable factors, including conditions, genetic mutations and syndromes, that can lead to a higher risk of developing this disease. Wasif Saif, M.D., MBBS, medical oncologist and co-leader of the Gastrointestinal and Neuroendocrine Oncology Multidisciplinary Team at Karmanos, joined the Art Lewis Show to discuss the risks of pancreatic cancer.
