Hansen Named Chief Executive Officer of Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Hospital

Amy Hansen has been named the chief executive officer of Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Hospital (NCRH). The medical rehabilitation hospital provides specialized rehabilitative care to individuals recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

A physical therapist, Hansen brings more than 15 years of clinical and healthcare leadership experience to her role. She has held a variety of clinical and leadership roles, previously serving as chief executive officer of a medical rehabilitation hospital in Arizona, where she provided strategic and operational oversight. During her tenure, she increased census and net revenue, strengthened referral relationships, and reinforced alignment of clinical teams.

Hansen also was the chief operating officer of Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Hospital, where she oversaw clinical operations across therapy, nursing, dietary and food services, pharmacy, case management, and medical records. During her career, she has led therapy operations and worked as a physical therapist, lead therapist, and stroke program coordinator at NCRH.

Hansen earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., and a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kan.
