First Deputy Minister of Belarus S.Lukashevich meets Deputy Foreign Minister of Maldives
03 February 2026On February 3, 2026 the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergey Lukashevich, met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Mohamed Wisham.
S.Lukashevich welcomed M.Wisham's visit to our country, which marked the first event of this level in bilateral relations.
The parties noted the importance of significantly intensifying cooperation in promising areas such as the supply of Belarusian food and equipment, tourism, medicine, and education.
An agreement was reached to coordinate positions between the foreign ministries of the two countries and to implement further joint steps aimed at developing political dialogue, trade and economic interaction, and the legal framework.
