07/28/2026 - Daley Arts Center Construction Impacts Begin August 4

Construction Impacts Around Daley Arts Center
The Olympia Armory - recently renamed the Daley Arts Center, will undergo sidewalk and utility work at 515 Eastside St SE, starting the week of August 4. All four street frontages of the site will be impacted with construction at one point or another. There will be a mixture of lane reductions and sidewalk closures on 5th Avenue SE, Eastside St SE, Legion Way SE and Quince St SE. The construction will be fluid between the street frontages, although impact to multiple streets at the same time will be reduced as much as possible.

Flaggers, sidewalk detours and signage will be in place throughout the construction process which is anticipated to continue through the first week in October. Please follow all posted signage and use caution when traveling in the area. If possible, use alternate routes to avoid delays.
