Various lane and ramp closures on I-435 and I-70 interchange in Jackson County for bridge work,

JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct bridge maintenance operation at multiple locations within the I-435 and I-70 interchange resulting in various intermittent lane and ramp closures. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:

Monday, April 20 until Friday, April 24 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

• Crews will CLOSE the ramp from I-435 NB to I-70 WB
• Crews will close one lane on I-435 NB and SB between U.S. 40 and the Stadium Drive overpasses
• Crews will close one lane at the on ramp from I-435 SB to I-70 EB

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
