Washington - Today, U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kansas) announced he is joining the newly launched Senate Anti-Fraud Task Force, led by Senator Eric Schmitt (R-Missouri), to combat fraud, waste, and abuse across federal programs. The Anti-Fraud Task Force will identify vulnerabilities in existing systems and strengthen government accountability to ensure the proper stewardship of taxpayer dollars.
"Kansans work hard for every dollar they earn, and they deserve a government that doesn't let their tax dollars get stolen out from under them," said Senator Marshall. "The Trump administration has already started holding these criminals accountable, and the Senate is going to continue that work. I'm excited to be joining the Senate Anti-Fraud Task Force to track this fraud down, recover every dollar we can, and put the people responsible behind bars where they belong."
As the Trump administration continues its efforts to eliminate fraud and waste, the Senate Anti-Fraud Task Force will support those efforts through oversight and legislative action.
Senator Marshall joins Senators Eric Schmitt (R-Missouri), Tommy Tuberville (R-Alabama), Katie Britt (R-Alabama), Ashley Moody (R-Florida), Tim Sheehy (R-Montana), Pete Ricketts (R-Nebraska), Marsha Blackburn (R-Tennessee), and Ron Johnson (R-Wisconsin) as members of the task force.
