WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Chairman of the U.S. Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee, announced Phoebe Keller has joined the committee as Communications Director. She has previously served in senior communications positions, most recently as Communications Advisor for the Senate Committee on Finance and Managing Director of Media Relations at the American Enterprise Institute. A native of New York, she is a former intern at the United States Supreme Court and a graduate of Cornell University.

Sen. Cruz said:

"We have a robust legislative agenda at the Senate Commerce Committee, and the first eight months of the 119th Congress have been incredibly productive. From securing historic investments in NASA and the Coast Guard, to enhancing air traffic safety, creating the largest spectrum pipeline in history, and empowering victims of deepfake abuse, we are making strides in key areas. As we work to advance more policies that will benefit hardworking Americans, having a strategic communications team is essential. I am excited for this press team to articulate the work of the Committee and support our mission of creating jobs, fostering American innovation, and ensuring the United States remains the global leader in critical industries."
