FINN Partners Promotes Adrienne McGarr to Head of East Coast Technology Practice

NEW YORK, NY - FINN Partners today announced the promotion of Adrienne McGarr to Managing Partner, Head of the East Coast Technology Practice. McGarr, previously a Senior Partner, will now oversee the East Coast technology team, encompassing staffing, new business development, client relationship management, and setting the strategic direction for the practice.

McGarr joined FINN Partners in January 2003 and has been instrumental in the agency's success, working with clients primarily in the technology and nonprofit sectors. In her new role, she will continue to leverage her extensive experience to help the practice's clients strategize and execute goals in line with their corporate positioning.

A key client in McGarr's portfolio is IEEE, the world's largest technical professional organization advancing technology for humanity. IEEE is a global relationship she has fostered for more than 15 years. This award-winning program has garnered numerous accolades, including a 2020 Platinum MarCom Award, a 2017 PR News Platinum Award Finalist for Global PR Campaign, a 2017 North America SABRE Award for Best Use of Integrated Social Media, a 2015 Platinum Award Finalist for Social Media Campaign, and a 2015 SABRE Award for Social Media Collective.

Prior to joining FINN Partners, McGarr spent nearly three years with Lois Paul & Partners, a Fleishman-Hillard company, where she served as a lead in the health technology practice, working with clients such as Galt Associates and Clinsoft.
