HOMEDALE - The Idaho Transportation Department will begin maintenance work on the Jump Creek Bridge on U.S. Highway 95 near Homedale on Monday, May 11.
Work is expected to last approximately five days, with crews working daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane across the bridge with flaggers directing alternating northbound and southbound traffic. The speed limit will be reduced from 55 mph to 35 mph through the work zone.
Two lanes of traffic will be restored each evening. Night work is not planned.
This maintenance work will help preserve the condition of the bridge, address needed repairs and extend the service life of the structure. Repairs will include, expansion joint replacement, waterproofing, bridge rail work and other routine maintenance.
Drivers are encouraged to check 511.idaho.gov for current conditions and potential delays.
