Last May, we launched Airbnb Services with 10 categories to make stays more convenient and special. Since then, we've continued to explore new offerings that can enhance the guest experience from arrival to checkout. That's why we're excited to introduce a new private car service in partnership with Welcome Pickups, a reputable provider across many major destinations globally.

Starting today, guests in over 125 cities across Asia, Europe, and Latin America-including Paris, Bali, and Mexico City-will be able to pre-book a private car service with Welcome Pickups between their listing and their point of arrival or departure, right in the app. This follows a successful pilot earlier this year, where thousands of guests across Europe and Asia booked the service-with an average rating of 4.96¹-reinforcing that the best trips often start with one simple thing: getting there stress-free.

A smoother first and last mile

Visiting a new destination can be exciting, but we know getting from the airport to a listing can be one of the more uncertain moments of a trip-especially after a long flight, a late-night landing, or navigating an unfamiliar pickup area for the first time. Private car services can help remove the guesswork and friction with easy pre-booking, clear pickup details, and a driver waiting with a sign displaying the guest's name.

Immediately after booking a stay in an eligible city, guests will see the option to schedule a private car service to their listing in the Trips tab. Once a reservation is confirmed, guests can view their booking details and make changes right within the Airbnb app. For arrivals, guests can choose a meet-and-greet option-with a personal welcome from a driver at their arrival location. For departures, guests will get picked up directly at their listing and be taken to their airport or transport hub, helping make the arrival and departure journey seamless.
