Route 72 in Cape Girardeau County Reduced for Asphalt Overlay…
SIKESTON―Route 72 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as construction crews perform asphalt overlay overnight.
This section of roadway is located from County Road 335 to Route 61 in Jackson, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Sept. 29 through Saturday, Nov. 1 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. nightly.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
