Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright is delighted to announce that Duncan Bagshaw has been selected to be appointed as King's Counsel.
Duncan joined Norton Rose Fulbright in 2025, bringing a wealth of experience in large and complex disputes, in international arbitration and court proceedings relating to energy and natural resources projects.
Duncan is a leading advocate in the field and his appointment reflects the respect he has earned from clients, tribunals and colleagues.
Norton Rose Fulbright's international arbitration team continues to grow, building on the broad range of globally significant matters the team has acted on in recent years, under the leadership of global co-heads Ruth Cowley and Kevin O'Gorman.
Ruth Cowley commented:
"On behalf of our global arbitration team and the wider firm, we are absolutely delighted that Duncan has been appointed King's Counsel. This is an exceptional professional milestone and a testament to Duncan's outstanding advocacy. His skills and experience are a valued part of our international arbitration practice."
Duncan commented:
"I am delighted to have been appointed King's Counsel. I owe a huge amount to many colleagues who have supported me over the years and who provided kind feedback on my work to the KC Appointments committee, and I am so grateful to all of them. I look forward to continuing to act in interesting and challenging cases. There is no better place - or better colleagues - for me to continue this work than the team at Norton Rose Fulbright."
