The Christ Hospital & The Christ College of Nursing Host Healthcare Career Day for High School Students

CINCINNATI (November 4, 2026) - The Christ Hospital Health Network and The Christ College of Nursing & Health Sciences are partnering with the Hamilton County Educational Service Center to host Healthcare in a Day. The event showecased various healthcare careers students can pursue.

The event took place in the auditorium of The Christ Hospital in Mt. Auburn on Wednesday, November 4 from 8:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. Professionals working across the healthcare spectrum at The Christ Hospital talked about their career and educational pathways.

At 8:40 a.m., the students will observe a narrated live surgery streamed to the auditorium, where different roles in the operating room, from surg tech to anesthesiologist, will be pointed out and students will be able to ask questions.

Dr. Amy Wutke, President of The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences, welcomed teachers and students. Medical professionals from a number of departments including nursing, sonography, medical assisting and others presented to the students. The Christ College highlighted programs and degrees students can pursue on The Christ Hospital campus.

Thirteen area high schools participated, including Anderson, Batavia, Butler Tech, Beechwood, Clermont Northeastern, East Central, Indian Hill, Lakota East/Butler Tech, Loveland, Ripley Union Lewis Huntington, Southern Hills, Turpin and Wyoming.
