Western Libraries to hold Winter 2026 review of withdrawn materials

As part of its regular review of library materials, Western Libraries will hold a university-wide review of items that have been identified for withdrawal from the library collection over the past quarter. These resources are being withdrawn because they are duplicated, superseded, or outdated. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to review and provide feedback regarding the withdrawn resources through Friday, March 20.
In accordance with state law, withdrawn resources may be transferred to university departments in coordination with department managers and chairs, but cannot be given to individuals. If you would like to review the titles identified for withdrawal, contact Library Collection Services via e-mail at [email protected].
