Media Alert: SC on Security and Justice to Be Briefed by AG on Correctional Services Annual Report

Parliament, Tuesday, 27 October 2026 - The Select Committee on Security and Justice will tomorrow receive a briefing from the Auditor-General of South African on the Department of Correctional Services' 2025/26 Annual Report. Later in the day, the committee will hold a joint meeting with the Select Committee Trade and Economic Development to discuss a joint approach to eliminating the illegal exploitation of minerals through collaboration between the security cluster law enforcement agencies to restore law and order.
