2025 Art in Public Places: Public Artists
Artist Panel Discussion and Reception at The Lincoln Center
Exploring Local Public Art & Personal Expression
Fort Collins, CO - The public is invited to a special evening celebrating local creativity and community engagement through art on Friday, October 10, 2025, at The Lincoln Center. The event features an Artist Reception from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, including an Artist Panel Discussion from 6:30 to 7:30 pm in The Lincoln Center Columbine Room, highlighting the exhibiting artists who are adding beauty to Fort Collins through both personal and public work.
Artists participating in the panel include Gregory Fields, Todd Kundla, Allie Ogg, and Stephan Shachtman-all of whom have contributed to the Fort Collins area through vibrant public art installations and are currently featured in a gallery exhibit of their personal works.
The panel discussion, titled "Exploring Local Public Art & Personal Expression," offers attendees a chance to hear directly from the artists about their creative processes, inspirations, and the interplay between private studio practice and public projects. This unique opportunity invites art lovers, aspiring artists, and community members alike to connect more deeply with the role of art in public spaces and everyday life.
The Artists' Reception, taking place prior to and during the panel discussion, allows for informal conversation and a closer look at the exhibited works. Light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
