Tons of Trucks Brought Big Fun for All Ages

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year's Tons of Trucks! We had a great turnout as families climbed inside and explored fire engines, police vehicles, DASH and school buses, snowplows, and more.

Kids had a blast honking horns and getting a driver's-seat view of the vehicles they don't usually get to see up close, while families met the city staff who keep Alexandria moving every day.

The fun didn't stop with the trucks. Families also enjoyed art projects from the city's Mobile Art Lab, hands-on activities with Alexandria Archaeology, and information from community partners including American Red Cross, GO Alex, Volunteer Alexandria, and others. All of it was set to the upbeat sounds of DJ One Luv.

We are already looking forward to next year's event. It will be on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Stay tuned for more updates by visiting the Tons of Trucks website, and we hope to see you again next year!
