Weekly inspection of the construction of the Kashagan gas processing plant by the leadership of QazaqGaz

Deputy Chairmanof the Management Board for New Projectsof JSC NCQazaqGaz Batyrzhan Tergeusizov conductedan on-site inspectionof the Kashagangas processing plantwith a capacityof 1 billion m3 per year. The eventwas attendedby GPCI specialized specialists and representativesof contracting organizations. During the meeting, the contractors providedup-to-date information onthe progressof constructionand installation work and reported on plansto achieve key project milestones bythe endof this year. Batyrzhan Yerzhanovich stressedthe needto further acceleratethe paceof construction and focused on compliancewith industrial and fire safetyrequirements, including night shifts.

For reference:More than 2,027 specialistsare involved atthe site, 1,434 of them are direct staff. About 192 employeesare employed in night shifts.There are morethan 342 unitsof construction equipment in operation. Special emphasisis placed on ensuring safeworking conditions, including at night.

Progress on constructionand installation works (CMP):

Installationof chimneysis completed;

Works on concreting foundations, installation and paintingof metalstructures and maintenance sites, installation and strappingof technological equipment, as wellas the assemblyof tanksof types RVS-5000 and spherical tankswith a volumeof 600 m3are carried out.;

External engineering networks (NVK-2)are under construction.

Roof installationhas been completed inthe GPCI shift settlement inthe administrativeand residential complex (ABC) and in two dormitorieswith 140 and 132 beds. Internal partitionsare being installed and electricalinstallation worksare underway inthe buildingsof dormitories for 140 and 132 places and ABCs,which are part of the permanent shift camp. Main typesof work performed:

Concrete foundation work: 55,844 m3 completed (73.6% progress) Installationof metalstructures: 5,406 tons (26.7%)

Installationof mechanical equipment: 4,415 tons (45.3%)

Installationof tanks: 1,682 tons (62.2%)

Layingof underground pipelines: 21,506 m (48.8%)

JSC NC QazaqGaz continues comprehensive monitoringof the project implementation, ensuring compliancewith construction deadlines, as wellas compliancewith established quality and safety standards at all stages.
