Healing Field tribute honors victims of Sept. 11 at Tempe Beach ParkPost Date:09/02/2025 11:00 AM In memory of those who tragically lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001, the Exchange Club of Tempe will present the Healing FieldĀ® tribute Thursday, Sept. 11 through Sunday, Sept. 14. The Healing Field memorial reflects on the tragedy of that day and pays tribute to the nearly 3,000 innocent lives that were lost. Thousands of American flags will be placed throughout Tempe Beach Park, representing each of the victims. Activities include a flag viewing, patriotic concert, 5K run/walk and ceremony.
