In Arizona, Trump Fails to Sell His Reckless Economic Policies and Unpopular War of Choice with Iran Arrow
Donald Trump traveled to Arizona today to spin his failing economic policies, which remain deeply unpopular with the American people. No matter how hard Trump tries to spin and gaslight Arizonans, Arizonans paid an extra $2 billion in 2025 because of Trump's reckless tariffs, insurance premiums for Arizonans spiked by nearly 30%, and more than 400,000 Arizonans have been stripped of food assistance.
In response, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:
"Donald Trump has turned his back on Arizonans, forcing families and young people to foot the bill for his reckless agenda. Trump promised to be 'America First' and promised to lower costs on 'Day One,' but his deadly and costly taxpayer-funded war with Iran drags on, prices are soaring, and jobs are disappearing. It's no wonder Americans in Arizona and everywhere else feel like they can't get ahead - Trump is doing everything he can to hold them back."
