A Historic Triple Crown: Panthers Sweep NE10 Conference Cups

Colchester, Vt. - Announced on Monday night, the Adelphi University Department of Athletics has won the Northeast 10 Conference Presidents Cup, Founders Cup and Pioneers Cup. The league office presented these honors at the conference's annual awards banquet on Monday night at Saint Michael's College.

For the third consecutive season, Adelphi captured both the Presidents Cup and the Founders Cup, marking the school's first time three-peating as Presidents Cup champions and becoming the first department to win the cup three years in a row since Stonehill in 2011-12. Adelphi won the Pioneers Cup for the second time in three years after finishing as runners-up in 2024-25.

The Presidents Cup is presented annually to signify overall athletic excellence in the NE10. It is awarded to the institution that compiles the most cumulative points based upon regular-season finishes in team sports and final placements at the annual NE10 Championships in individual sports.

The Panthers claimed the cup by a whopping 16 points, finishing ahead of Bentley and Saint Anselm. Adelphi narrowly defeated Bentley in the race for the Founders Cup by 3.5 points while dominating the competition in the Pioneers Cup, finishing 12 points ahead of second-place Southern Connecticut State.

Adelphi was propelled by incredible performances across all three seasons, earning four regular-season titles.
