UTHSC Pathologists’ Assistant Program Receives Full Accreditation!
We are thrilled to announce that the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Pathologists' Assistant Program has been awarded full accreditation by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS), receiving a five-year accreditation, the highest possible award for a new program!
This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and excellence of our faculty, staff, students, graduates, and clinical partners.
A special thank you to Program Director Michael Weitzeil, Clinical Coordinator Samantha Etters, and Educational Coordinator Kathleen Reed for their leadership and commitment in building this program from the ground up.
We look forward to continuing our mission of educating the next generation of highly skilled pathologists' assistants!
