Origin Bank has announced Darren Hardage has joined the company as a vice president of business development for its Mississippi market. Hardage has more than nine years of experience in the banking and finance industry, specializing in small business and consumer lending.
"We're excited to welcome Darren to the team," said Origin's Mississippi State President Larry Ratzlaff. "With a proven track record of building strong client relationships, he will play a key role in delivering financial solutions that support our clients' success and strengthen our community."
A Mississippi native, Hardage's experience includes consumer and business lending, credit analysis and long-term relationship building. In his new role, he will leverage his expertise to develop and maintain banking relationships across Mississippi with a particular emphasis on supporting small businesses.
Hardage earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Mississippi State University. He and his wife Carmen share two young children and are active members of First Baptist Church of Brandon.
