Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously grants a royal audience to TICA Director-General and participants of the Training Program in Technology of Medicine and Public Health for Health Personnel from the Lao PDR

On 6 March 2026, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted a royal audience to Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), together with participants of the Training Program in Technology of Medicine and Public Health for Health Personnel from the Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) as well as the training organizing committee, at the Chaipattana Building, Chitralada Palace. On this occasion, Her Royal Highness graciously presented certificates to 60 trainees and observed the presentation of operational plans for the project.

The Training Program in Technology of Medicine and Public Health for Health Personnel from the Lao PDR is a Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn since 2000. The program aims to enhance participants' knowledge and skills in health promotion, disease prevention, medical treatment, and health administration, while also promoting the exchange of knowledge and experiences between health personnel of Thailand and the Lao PDR. These efforts contribute to the long-term improvement of the quality of life of the people in both countries. To date, a total of 1,170 health personnel from the Lao PDR have participated in the program. TICA is one of the agencies supporting this royal initiative and has continuously served as the coordinating body, while also providing budgetary support for the implementation of the training program. These efforts aim to strengthen cooperative networks and further expand development cooperation in other related fields in the future.
