Deputy Minister Wojciech Zajączkowski meets Latin American ambassadors

MFA Undersecretary of State Wojciech Zajączkowski received at the Ministry headquarters the ambassadors of Brazil, Chile, Guatemala, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, and chargés d'affaires of Argentina and Panama. They talked about the upcoming EU-Community of Latin American and Caribbean Nations (CELAC) summit.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister Wojciech Zajączkowski expressed his belief that the EU-CELAC summit, scheduled for November, will contribute to the strengthening of relations between Europe and Latin America. The heads of missions presented their priorities regarding interregional and bilateral cooperation.

The undersecretary of state stressed that Poland makes efforts to enhance political dialogue with Latin American and Caribbean countries. He said that Poland, having become one of the 20 largest economies in the world, is ready to explore new directions of economic cooperation and investment. Deputy Minister Zajączkowski announced that bilateral consultations with Panama, Argentina, Chile, and Mexico are to take place in the months to come.
