Reign of the Black Empire Card Reveals and Rewards Guide

With Reign of the Black Empire on the horizon, we're teaming up with your favorite content creators to help us reveal some new cards. From wielding the power of four different Old Gods to creating custom minions with Assemble, there's plenty to get excited about. We've got everything you need to know to catch these card reveals.

Also, you can start claiming free rewards today and earn even more as the Old Gods' influence spreads. Check out the rewards guide below (after the card reveals section) so you don't miss a thing.

Hearthstone Card Reveals clash with the power of the Old Gods!

Reign of the Black Empire's battle between the Old Gods and the Titan-forged doesn't just happen in-game, it's continuing through card reveals! BlizzCon gave us our first look at all four Old Gods and several Titan-forged cards, but that was only the beginning. Join us for a revamped card reveal season as we unveil every card in just two weeks.

Week 1: We kick off card reveals with the classes that have embraced the whispers of the Old Gods.

Tuesday, September 15

  • Find out how who's in C'hootz with C'Thun on our social channels.

Wednesday, September 16

  • Death Knight and Rogue take center stage. It'll be a RAINBOW of COMBOs.

Theorycrafting: A New Take on a Familiar Event

The Old Gods' corruption is spreading everywhere, and its reach knows no bounds! Theorycrafting has been infused with their dark power, expanding from a single day into nearly a full week of early access content. Join your favorite creators as they experiment with new decks, discover powerful interactions, and put Reign of the Black Empire through its paces before launch.

Theorycrafting: Devs vs. Streamers

The battle for the Black Empire isn't limited to Azeroth.

During Theorycrafting, Team Dev and Team Streamer will clash for glory, bragging rights, and rewards. Every five victories earned by Team Streamer will unlock surprise rewards for randomly selected Theorycrafting participants to share with their community, so every win counts.

To make sure more players can join the action, this year's Theorycrafting event spans multiple regions and multiple days. Participating creators will stream from their own channels throughout the event, while our developers enter the fray during the opening play session.

Check the schedule below to see when your favorite creators will be live, then tune in to watch new decks emerge, mind-bending combos take shape, and the first Reign of the Black Empire experiments unfold.

Theorycrafting: The Old God's Gauntlet

  • Who dares face the Old Gods? Rarran and DaneHearth do! Join them as they host a two-day gauntlet packed with custom rules, chaotic outcomes, and plenty of shenanigans. This isn't Theorycrafting, it's TheoryCORRUPTION.

Join Raven, Sottle, Edelweiss, and Lorinda as they return to guide you through the most exciting moments of Reign of the Black Empire Theorycrafting. Watch as players experiment with new decks, uncover mind-bending combos, and push the expansion's cards in directions nobody expected, not even our veteran casters. They'll also provide live play-by-play coverage of the Devs vs. Streamers rivalry, breaking down the action as it unfolds and keeping track of which side is pulling ahead with an on-stream score tracker.

From October 13 at 10:00 a.m. PDT - October 17 at 10:00 a.m. PDT, participate in Hearthstone Community Days and celebrate the discoveries, decks, and Reign of the Black Empire. Tune into any participating Hearthstone stream to earn up to 3x Standard Packs and 2x Tavern Tickets just for watching.

Pre-Release Tavern Brawl

Crack open the Reign of the Black Empire packs you've been earning, then jump into the Pre-Release Tavern Brawl where only Reign of the Black Empire cards are allowed. All Reign of the Black Empire Common and Rare cards available as free Trial Cards* during the event. Choose from predefined multi-class combinations before constructing your deck. Most options combine three classes, while one special two-class combination offers enhanced C'Thun synergies.
