Trade & Quality Matters in Türkiye

Building on the success of the training workshop held in Kahramanmaraş, Türkiye in May 2024, the ICA will return to the city on 22-23 September. The ICA delegation, comprising 1st Vice-President Pierre Chehab, Managing Director Bill Kingdon, and Business Operations & Development Manager Robert Jiang, will lead a training session focused on trade and quality matters, alongside visits to local cotton organisations and companies. The initiative aims to address misconceptions within the trade and promote good trading practices in accordance with the ICA Bylaws and Rules.

Organised in collaboration with the Kahramanmaraş Industry and Business Association (KASİAD), the workshop will explore a broad range of key topics relevant to the global cotton trade, including contract making, performance, quality standards, arbitration, and safe trading.
