Service Wire Earns NEMA Make It American™ Across All U.S. Facilities

ARLINGTON, Va. - The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) today announced that Service Wire, a family-owned, West Virginia-based wire and cable manufacturer, has earned Make It American™ certification for facilities in Phoenix, Arizona; Houston, Texas; and Culloden, West Virginia. The company has also earned NEMA's product-level certification for three wire and cable product lines that meet Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act domestic content requirements for infrastructure projects receiving federal funds.

"Service Wire hasn't just embraced the Make It American mission - they've embodied it for more than half a century," said NEMA President and CEO Debra Phillips. " Earning certification across every one of their facilities, from Appalachia to the Gulf Coast to the Southwest, is a testament to what American manufacturing and leadership looks like."

"From our founding in 1968, American manufacturing has been the core of who we are," said Louis Weisberg, President of Service Wire Company. "We take deep pride that all of our products are 100% U.S.-made in our West Virginia, Texas, and Arizona facilities."

"Our recent certification through NEMA's Make It American Program underscores our ability to provide customers with superior service, prompt lead times, and dependable inventory. This certification also gives customers confidence that they are sourcing products made right here at home, as we continue to support American jobs, communities, and infrastructure," said Trish Weisberg Erwin, Chief Operating Officer of Service Wire Company.

The certification - achieved simultaneously across all of Service Wire's U.S. facilities - reflects a company-wide commitment to the domestic manufacturing and content standards that apply for federally funded infrastructure projects. NEMA's Make It American program provides manufacturers, government agencies, and procurement officials with greater certainty by subjecting supply chain management systems and operations to rigorous, independent third-party audits.

Service Wire's certified facilities are listed in the NEMA Make It American™ BABA Registry, a resource for contractors and procurement officials seeking BABA-compliant products and suppliers.
