"VFW POW MIA Commemorative" Saturday September 20th Starting with at 5:30 PM at Columbian Park Memorial Island in Lafayette, IN for a POW /MIA Ceremony featuring Army SSGT Jim Pfister (former Vietnam Prisoner of War captured on January 5, 1968 and was held until his release on March 5, 1973) as the guest speaker - After the ceremony join us back to the VFW: POST 1154 2660 Duncan Rd Lafayette, IN - for food and entertainment -

7:00 am Registration for 5k at the Boat House at Columbia Park ($20.00 registration fee + a free T-Shirt)

8:00 am 5k Starts

11:00 am-1:00 pm Motorcycle Ride Registration at the VFW Post 1154 ($20.00 registration fee + free T-Shirt)

1:00 pm Kick Stands Up

5:30 pm Commemoration with keynote speaker prior POW Jim Pfister at Memorial Island Amphitheatre at Columbia Park

6:30 pm Empty Chair Ceremony-Followed by Q&A with Jim Pfister
