Check Closure Status Before Visiting Idaho Power Parks

Access to several Idaho Power recreational facilities in Hells Canyon is being impacted by wildfire and weather damage, and the company is advising anyone planning to visit the area to check their website before traveling.

The Moonshine Mine Recreation Area north of Huntington, Oregon, is closed due to firefighting activity in the area. Hells Canyon Campground is closed during cleanup and repairs from a windstorm last week. Copperfield Campground at Oxbow, Oregon, remained under a Level 2 evacuation warning Tuesday, July 28.

The company's Daly Creek Habitat Management Area headquarters near Richland, Oregon, is also closed due to fire danger.
