Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria Yu Dunhai Meets with the IGP Kayode Egbetokun, Inspector-General of Police, Nigeria Police Force

On September 23, Ambassador Yu Dunhai met with Kayode Egbetokun, the Inspector-General of Police, Nigeria Police Force.

Ambassador Yu noted that since President Tinubu's state visit to China last year, China and Nigeria have seen robust development in cooperation across various fields. The Chinese government attaches great importance to the safety of Chinese nationals in Nigeria and hopes that Nigerian police will resolutely crack down on crimes targeting Chinese nationals, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese nationals and enterprises, and create a safe and stable business environment.

IGP Kayode Egbetokun said that the Nigerian police high importance to China's concerns and will take practical measures to fully ensure the safety of Chinese institutions, enterprises, and personnel in Nigeria.
