As of March 12, at 2 p.m., the parking ban on permanent snow routes, including Priority 1 and Priority 2 roads, has been lifted.

The parking ban was put in place on Wednesday, February 18 at 7 a.m. to support snow clearing operations during periods of significant snow and ice accumulation. With all windrows now cleared from Priority 1 and Priority 2 routes, parking restrictions are no longer required on these roads.

Snow clearing operations continue across the city. Residential clearing is underway, with crews removing cul-de-sac snow piles and continuing lane clearing. Crews also continue sanding priority roads to address icy conditions and are monitoring snowmelt to manage drainage and address pooling, while filling potholes with cold mix. Temporary parking bans are still in place on your scheduled residential clearing day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Residents and visitors are thanked for their cooperation and compliance with parking bans. Current parking ban status is available at cityofgp.com/parkingbans.
